Family lore has it they sang before they talked. Mizzy and Casey Wiggins are an acoustic folk and roots rock duo known for their songwriting, powerful voices and rich sibling harmonies. The Wiggins Sisters can belt the blues or sing quiet Appalachian-style harmonies with equal confidence. The sisters pursued separate careers initially, Mizzy in Austin and Casey in LA before coming together in 1995 to perform as a duo. They have earned numerous songwriting awards from Boston to Austin and have gained a following across the Atlantic as well. Their long overdue CD "Fairfield County" was released in 2018.

“Fairfield County is a collection of songs we have written and performed at their shows going back 20 years. While this record is long overdue, as John Lennon said “life is what happens while you’re making other plans”  In that time we lived our lives did our work raised our 6 children and - oh yeah Mizzy became a doctor! Through it all we never stopped singing playing writing or performing music. Winning the JPF Music Awards ‘Best Americana’ award for our 10 year old 2nd CD "Minnesota"  inspired us to get back into the studio and record the songs that were piling up. So here are the first 14 songs- with more to come! We’re on a roll!"
